Sierra Vista Middle School to Host E-Waste Fundraiser
Posted on 01/07/2015

Did you know e-waste is the fastest growing waste stream in the industrial world? According to the Environmental Protection Agency, consumers and businesses throw away as many as 137,000 computers every day.

You can help keep e-waste out of landfills by donating your old computers, monitors. servers, hard drives, laptops, TVs, printers, cell phones, DVD players, radios, speakers, and VHS players to Sierra Vista Middle School, located at 777 E. Puente Avenue in Covina. The e-waste event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31. Your donations will be recycled and the proceeds used for 8th grade promotion activities, after-school sports programs, field trips, assemblies, and many other valuable school programs.

This event is open to the public. If you have e-waste cluttering your home or office, donate it to Sierra Vista Middle School on Monday, January 31.
